Mellanie joins the Scissortail team having spent four years as the Assistant to the Managing Partner of New York Life Insurance in Tulsa. Her primary roles included residential and commercial insurance licensing and renewals, onboarding new agents, and securities registrations for over 50 representatives.  Her role at Scissortail Wealth Management will encompass managing the client review process, scheduling appointments, client service and executive management support.  Mellanie has a positive, energetic personality that helps clients feel right at home!

Mellanie, a native Tulsan, graduated from Victory Christian School and went on to receive a degree in business from the University of Phoenix, where she was also awarded membership into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). She has been blessed with the opportunity to travel around the world during her work career and also as a volunteer, serving in the field of missions. Mellanie lives in Tulsa with her husband Jay of 7 years.  She has a son ,Brayden, and a bonus daughter, Keiley. Her hobbies include spending time with family, exercising, and traveling.
