Brooks Kollmann

Brooks has been in the financial services industry since 2016. Before joining Scissortail Wealth Management, Brooks was an Investment Specialist with J.P. Morgan in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where he provided a thoughtful approach to addressing the investment management needs of successful individuals, entrepreneurs and multi-generational families.

He began his career with BOK Financial in the firm’s Accelerated Career Track Wealth Management Program, which included in-depth training in equity analysis, planning and investments. Then later moved into the Private Bank as an associate, where he provided investment management and private banking services to individuals, foundations and trusts.

In recognition of the impact he has made on the industry, he was named a 2020 Oklahoma NextGen Under 30 Finance & Banking Professional. Brooks is a native of Tulsa and graduated high school from Metro Christian Academy. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from Oklahoma State University.

Raised in a family that emphasized the importance of hard work and helping those less fortunate, Brooks prioritizes paying it forward. He has been an active volunteer, mentor, friend and fundraiser for Junior Achievement, Oklahoma State University’s Mentoring Program, Tulsa Boys Home, Tulsa Area United Way and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He is an avid golfer, traveler, landscaper and self-described beach guy. Brooks also holds several advanced scuba diving licenses.
